Project Overview

TEMS Solar recently completed a domestic solar PV and battery storage installation for a home in Caversham, Reading. The homeowner wanted to reduce energy bills, make better use of on-site renewable generation, and install a compact system that would deliver reliable performance without overcomplicating the setup.

Following a detailed site survey and assessment of the household’s energy usage, a tailored solution was designed to balance solar generation with battery storage capacity.

Design & Installation

The 12-panel solar array was carefully positioned to maximise generation while maintaining a neat and discreet appearance. High-efficiency Jinko panels were selected to deliver strong output within the available roof space.

The Fox H1 5.0kW hybrid inverter manages solar generation, household demand, and battery charging in a single, efficient unit. The Fox ECS high-voltage battery stores surplus solar energy for use later in the day, helping the homeowner increase self-consumption and reduce reliance on grid electricity during peak periods.

All works were completed by TEMS Solar’s in-house installation team, ensuring compliance with current regulations and a high standard of workmanship throughout.
