Project Overview

TEMS Solar successfully delivered a large-scale commercial solar PV installation for a major telecom provider at its Banbridge facility in Northern Ireland. The project was designed to significantly reduce operational energy costs while supporting the client’s sustainability and carbon reduction objectives.

The system was engineered to ensure maximum on-site energy utilisation, with 100% of the electricity generated consumed directly by the facility, eliminating export dependency and maximising financial returns.

System Design & Technology

The installation comprises 144 high-efficiency Aico 645W solar panels, providing a total installed capacity of 92.88 kWp. To optimise performance, safety, and long-term reliability, the system was paired with a 66.6 kW SolarEdge Synergy inverter, offering enhanced efficiency and modular redundancy.

Advanced safety and monitoring technologies were incorporated, including:

• SolarEdge Firefighter Gateway – enabling rapid shutdown functionality to meet stringent commercial safety requirements and provide reassurance to site operators and emergency services.

• SolarEdge Sense Connect Optimiser Technology – delivering continuous monitoring at module level, early fault detection, and improved system uptime.

Installation & Delivery

The project was completed within a few weeks, demonstrating TEMS Solar’s ability to deliver complex commercial installations efficiently and with minimal disruption to site operations. Close coordination and careful planning ensured the system was commissioned on schedule and fully optimised from day one.
