Project Overview
TEMS Solar recently completed a high-performance domestic solar PV and battery storage installation for a homeowner in Reading. The client was looking to reduce rising energy costs, increase energy independence, and make better use of renewable energy generated on-site.
After a full site assessment and energy usage review, we designed a system that maximises self-consumption while remaining future-proof and scalable.

Design & Installation
The Aiko 455W panels were selected for their excellent efficiency and sleek appearance, making them ideal for a residential property. The array was carefully positioned to maximise solar generation throughout the day while maintaining a clean, discreet roofline.
The Fox H1 AC-coupled inverter and ECS HV battery system allow the homeowner to store excess solar energy for use in the evenings and during periods of low generation. This setup also offers flexibility for future system expansion and compatibility with time-of-use tariffs.
All works were completed by TEMS Solar’s in-house installation team, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and minimal disruption to the household.
